finally today is my off day..off day means sleeping day...yes..i love to slp..and i need to slp...wake up in the morning feelin dizzy and headache..mummy help mi take temp, and i got slight fever..oh gosh..i think i got caught in the rain last few day..so i slp till noon..wake up and wanted to go out for lunch but my head was spinning while im walkin to carpark..so i went home without lunch..kor kor order pizza for lunch and i ate 1 slice..i was lyin on sofa the whole day..dinner time i had my mum expert soup..mummy make mi cold remedy tea..omg..~! i hate it..but i still finish it..thanks mummy..~! tml i got to go work early in the morning..and i haf to slp early in order to get well soon..GET WELL SOON JESS~!!^^

recently havin dry run for my outlet..was tough yet fun..learn quite alot of thing..especially team work..my team got lot of team work..all helpin each other..at first i thought fast food will be boring..but i realise it can also learn many stuff from it..my chef was all very gd..we was all havin fun..joke and laugh around..tiring and sleepy still..i still love my job...^^lets all work hard...!!

few days nv blog le cos i busying watching drama with my mummy..haha..can watch whole day..go out eat, shopping, sleep..and jogging too..

dec is coming..means many things to worry and do soon..my tp test, malaysia holiday, class gathering and staring work soon..so many things..omg~!! i'm getting fatter too..damn it..the more i wan to slim the fatter i go..argh~!! hate it man!! anywhere with my mum around i cant pass my day without eatting and eatting..hais..=( too bad..i have to wait till workin then can diet le..lets not worry about dieting for the time being bah..^^

tis few days keep rainin and rainin....weather cold cold so shiok~! but i seem to have flu..tissue everywhere!! mummy nag and nag..haha^^opps....

ytd meet up with mdm flora and hwee kheng for dinner at northpoint..we eat swensen..mdm treat us..so ps sia..we wanted to pay but lose to her fast hand..thank you mdm!! was nice chatting and laughing with each other..will miss her alot..~!

for today main actor is flower..a flower which is used as colouring..why i will talk about flower today?! it's because my mum pluck it and tell mi it used for food colouring..i dun believe so i check on web..

this blue flower above is used as blue colouring..it's often used in nyoya kueh called ''pulut tai tai''(it a Blue Glutinous Rice Cakes,a nonya kuih for a straits-born Chinese wedding) this kueh is usually served with kaya..wan to noe how this kueh look like? go to this website..http://www.inmagine.com/inm081/im081012-photo

Correct name for this flower is called ''Bunga Telang'' or ''Blue Pea Flower''..this plant is not only useful for it flower, it's root also cure whooping cough if taken orally..sound gd huh?!

now i teach u how to use it dye...my mummy teaches mi to pour some water into a container, put the flower in and smash the flower..i tried it..it really got clour coming out..this method is jus a small test..
Correct method is to sun-dried the flowers, boiled in water, and cook with one pot of Glutinous rice. i think tat how they make pulut tai tai lah!!

my mummy even took the seed of blue pea flower and plant it ourself..let's see if it will grow or not..^^ picture of the blue pea flower seed is the pic above..

Main actor today is BLACK GARLIC!! Black Garlic is actually fermented from raw garlic and normally fermented with the whole bulb..it has twice as many antioxidants as raw garlic and S-Allycysteine [sic], its natural that proven that it may help prevent cancer..cool isn't it?? haha

how is it taste like?! erm..i ate abit, the texture like sour plum but it not sour at all..not so much garlic taste then raw garlic..yet quite strong in the fermented taste..abit taste like balsamic vinegar (if u know wad it is) and abit mild sweet..not sure wad fermented method they used..look disgusting, but it gd for health..see you dare eat or not??^^

hi everyone~!

ytd we went celebrating hui jun birthday at chinatown ktv..was so fun and enjoying..^^ we buy cake for her and presents too.. we sing from 2pm to 6 plus...and we took lots of photo..woohoo~!

actually i parted with them at evening, cos i meeting my asc room mate for dinner @ ite simei..i take train all the way from chinatown to tampines station..so far stand till so tired...somemore got to wear formal (blazer and long pant)..HOT HOT HOT sia!!! argh!! my room mate bring her bf with her..her bf was so funny and friendly..onli awhile we tok like long time fren already..haha..^^ gdgd tat's make mi not boring..we joke and laugh all along..
when reached ite, we saw some ite head like ceo...and whatever la..so hard to rmb who r they..we found out tat onli 2 of us from asc attended this dinner..so sian..cos others all in ns and studies......we went in to our tables and i saw sir edwin, timothy, sir kelvin koh, sir alvin goh....then i noe tis dinner is to celebrate those competitors from polys and ites students comin back from canada world skills competition...
the dinner starts with boring talks by ite ceo...then is certificates giving..and they even show our asc video...!!wth!!so ps lo..but so memorable..bring back so much memory... my room mate and i was so shock!! we keep laughin at each other..haha^^ and finally is dinner time..dinner was very nice..got scallop, shark fin, fishes, seafood, chicken....so many many courses...yum yum yum!!!=P at least nv wasted this trip all the way to simei..wahaha!! we ate not even half the courses and we get full already..and quite late also..so we went off half way...hmm...abit wasted huh..!! but no choices lah..

so my day is fully used...and im enjoyed!!!^^

fri i went late shoppin and buy mooncake with hwee kheng at bugis street.....last day of lantern festival..must grab..haha..^^we shop till 10.30..1st time go bugis street till so late...and of cos i brought alot of clothing..got shirt got pant..haha..

sat i went to tampines with my family..jasmine go too..cos actually meetin her to buy her stuff..but my family goin out too..so tgt lah..=) i still buy clothing again..dun noe why i buy so much, also nv go out often..haha..bit waste lah..but i like lei.....=D i think i control myself le..i must stop buyin le..save money for end of year holiday..rmb jess~~!!! ok i will rmb..^^

erm.. today got bad news, i cant work in F1 outside caterin..argh~!! how could it be..wasted my chance..wasted my time..sian..make mi so lookin forward to it..i wan watch race de lei..stupid shang!!! they ask us to do in house..no choice lo..better than nothing..at least still got $$ earn~!!! work 1 day onli..sat is my work day and 8 hours of workin..haiya, actually wanted to meet him during F1..see my plan was ruined!! so anrgy!! forget it lah...i dun wan to waste my brain cells and energy to angry bout it le..~!

other than tis, i went to work at my mummy stall as usual..after work, i drove my mummy car to nearby to practice parkin..maybe is mummy car is old..i not use to it..some how the gear and accerater seem to be weird lei..nvm ''practice make perfect''~! ok..erm.. bout parkin now..seem hard for mi without pole..but i think learn without pole is better bah..next time park outside also dun haf pole..must get use to it jess!!

& so after i had played enough with car, we went to fetch didi home from sch and we went swimming at cc...woohoo~! exercise..lose weight..fun~! we swam for bout 1 hour..i did swam...about 6 laps bah.. dun think its enough to burn my fats..but better than nothing lah..play with my didi in water..james so cute~!!! haha..and so we went home..

today i went to orchard with mummy, didi and jasmine..today different we dun drive we took mrt!! mummy feel weird takin mrt cos she drive for the past few years.. we went shoppin and shoppin from cineleisure to far east..mummy say her leg going break soon..haha so funny lo..she keep sayin i keep walkin and walkin..lol~! i brought a pair of shoe, a sunglasses and some earrings..!!so shiok!!=)

yo~! im back to my blog..

hmm tis weekend i stay at home to pack my room..i wanted to do so very long le..but keep workin and driving..now driving still must wait le..workin also can handle..so i decide to make over my room by tis yr..i'm a person who wan to finish my things before starting another..when finiished i can fully work outside next yr without anything in my mind!!

i packed half of my room tis week..i throw alot of unwanted things and my cupboards!! my room furniture going 9 yrs le..still swee swee de but i wan to change my room..i didnt noe i got so many thing to throw..nearly float the rubbish bin on my storey..haha..my mummy & i carried my 2 cupboards to throw..DAMN HEAVY SIA~!! (tired!!) after finished packin, i sweep and mop my whole house...really sweat like hell.. i think tat counted as exercise bah.. i also eat 1 meal only..woohoo~!

now my room is full with boxes and my stuffs..next week i will pack my computer table and my dressing table..throw everything!! woo~! so cool!! more space in my room le..shiok~!

and because im packin my room tis weekend, i cant meet u today..sorry huh~! next week we'll meet up~!! =)

hello im back from my driving test!!

ahh~!! i failed my test!!

In the morning, i went for warm up lesson, jus wan to turn right, a family car drive fast across..i faster brake, uncle also pull hand brake..tat stupid car horned loudly but nv even step brake..it's red light green arrow ok!!..idiot driver..scared me sia!! so heng lo~! if not i think sure hit till jia lat de..

after warm up lesson i went for my test..i got the worst tester (tat wad uncle say)..i was nervous till my leg keep shaking lo..i even hit 1 pole down..shit!! i think the morning accident affect me..make mi scared whole day..sian -,-''..still got some mistakes..so i failed my test~! hais!! so dissapointed sia!! uncle thought i can pass de.. sorry uncle!!

woohoo!! blogging time!!

hmm today was so interesting...i caught a caterpillar on my mummy's plant few weeks ago.. i keep it as a pet in a container to let my little brother see..we watch the caterpillar to pupa and today it turn to a butterfly..so pretty...!! my little brother was so excited, i opened the container and let it fly away.. it seem like he dun wan to go..i use stick to move it but it didnt wan to go..so i put it back to my mummy's plant.. not sure will it fly away.. my brother looks so bu she de..keep sayin bye-bye to it..^^ so cute~! i promise him to catch another caterpillar for him..=)

today i went out with felicia for our lunch @ yuki yaki..we had lot of food..all very nice!! cos got mi around!!haha=X!! i specially love the gyoza!! crispy and juicy!! yum yum~! and i love the orange juice also!! so full sia!! we eat bout 2 hour then we went to suntec to meet hui jun..while waiting for her, felicia and i went to feed fish..haha..we took lot of nice pic there too..then we go window shoppin and we decided to go esplanade to slack..we took lot of photo there..like 3 siao cha bo nv take pic before~!haha....after we had taken enough, we walk to the merlion there and used the ''GRAND TOILET''..wandering y we call tat?? erm..it a high class toilet with grand design la..haha..and we had our dinner cum supper @ lau pat sa..i order 1 portion of xiao long dang bao and some other thing we share!! i ta bao chuo tou fu for my mummy supper..she love it lo!! and we took cab home..so fun!!

ytd after my work, i meet Felicia at Sengkang and we went swimming!!! so shiok sia!! BUT jus when we were enjoyin, a school of secondary students came, i think it their swimming CCA..loads of ppl sia!! they almost taken the whole pool...2 of us is like keep swimmin here and there jus to not block their way..WTH~!

but they take bout 2 hours onli..so after they had gone..we set a target for today! we decided to swim at least 10 laps. but i think we swam more than 10 lap bah and we spend 4 hours there!! after swimmin we went for our lunch..we meet jasmine and we went back to my house..we played badminton at evening and thought of playin basketball but the court is full..so we cant get the chance to play..but see ppl play also nice..

i hope i get to lose some weight bah..haha..~!^_0

last sat went sentosa with my rg chefs..we meet at afternoonand take tram to siloso beach..we play basketball and volleyball till others ask us to join them for captain ball..haha..we all dun noe how to play but we still won..so funny..those guys were friendly though they got tatoo all around..tis is called ''dun judge ppl by it looks''..it true..!!haha..

hmm..oh ya, recently went to attend a graduation ceremony to take award..quite fun meet some frens there..but very tiring and boring listening to their speech..no choice must listen also..haha..i took photo with aidah (she's in the pic above)..my mummy attended also..finally she saw mi takin award..for the past few years whenever i took any small or big award she wont wanna go, cos she think tat boring..i was surprised also when she say she will be attendin..quite happy also..i make her proud..
when the ceremony endin they poped and let down the balloons..i sat at the back, when they poped the loud thing, everyone was shock...they all jump up..so funny lo..i keep laughin behind..haha..

erm.. today was a tiring day still...went to work as usual 7am reach sharp..today abit special no need to carry table & chair..nazmi help us carry out..he reach very early, before 7am jiu reach le..btw nazmi is our new manager..! he is gd cos he can handle the most headache person at my workplace..she is juliet! today nazmi scold her till she cry..abit ke lian but she really deserve it lah..no choice also..!

today i learned new ingredient...noe ribena? the juice which everyone like to drink?
do u noe how it make from? dun noe right?! i will tell u!!

it is make from a plant..look exactly like the pictures above..it got weird shape jus like octopus..tis plant grow to be a tree and harvest plant (picture).... jus remove seed from the plant and boil with water..add some sugar and u get ribena...interesting isn't it?

yup im back. a very tough process yet a great experiences! yes i did not get to win anything back but i earn a life experience for my future excel!

through tis journey i learned alot of things, see alot of people, do alot of stuffs! but all tis cant compare friendship and the love our trainers give us! i meet tons of great great friends not onli our own singapore team, also from other country! we went through training the trainer lead a path for us to walk...they are the 1 behind us!

as for myself, my trainer is from my attachment place chefs! they got nothing but they are willing to train mi. through the past few months! they are the BEST!! also my school trainer, tat my school lecturers!! they gave us everything jus to give us confident. thank you all!!=)

im sorry i didnt win anything but i did try my very best! it not jus winning but i really learned alot of thing! im sure i will excel in future and bring u all proud!=)

today we got a important farewell party for our hotel GM. his going back to his family and leaving hotel tomorrow. quite sad cod his a gd GM. very humour and friendly.

each outlet needs to prepare some food for the party, so is my outlet. we made foie gras mousse with fig sitting on puff pastry and squid ink ravioli with lobster royal.
and we are the onli outlet which present ex food and most people during the party ( it suppose to be 1 chef from each outlet). we helped up and took photo with our GM. =) gd luck to our GM!

last wed i go to work as normal, in the afternoon i recieve a call from HR, asked mi to go to (??home) at 3pm. it was very sudden as im still busyin with my training. i was very blurr cos i dun noe wad to do over there. when we got onto the mini bus, audrey (HR) roughly told us wad we suppose to do. We were there to accompany them, play games and celebrate birthdays with them. (??home) is a place where children stays without their parents due to abuse, parents past away, parents in jail...etc...Their age is bout 4 to 18 yrs old. children there will acted abit more disobedience and fierce.When we reached there, the Children will all sitted and chit-chatting in a few small groups. There were 3 kids birthday on tat day. We play games, bring cakes and drinks for them.Quite interesting and i realise how gd life i had.

hmmm...it been 3 week of attachment. i miss my friends and lecturers, wondering how they doing in their attachment place? so if u are 1 of them readin, do leave a comment...=)

my attachment place is pretty fun! meet lot of new frens with same career. especially my restaurant chefs! they are really good to mi. teaches mi alot of thing which cant learn in books. they all treat each other jus like their family members though im the onli female in the kitchen. they also seem very supportive for my coming competition. they say if wan recipe feel free to find them. ''sharing is caring'' tat wad they always say to mii. our ''lao da'' (head chef of our restaurant) is the most supportive ones. he ordered ingredients jus to let mi train for my com..im really very lucky to be 1 of them..and i promised to do my very best for the competition in order to let them feel proud! as i m carrying lot of hope and support!

recently there is orientation, erm..quite boring..it even tiring then working. jus like studying. but i really noe alot more about the hotel after the 3 days orietation. like the history, the commitees, the restaurants and bars...etc. most importantly, i met alot of new members in the hotel. alot of them are from shatec. most of them find us from ITE very curious. they keep askin us bout wad we learn, the fees....through this conversation we noe each other more. =)

a very old, huge tower in teluk intan! since 1920 it very tall. it make sound every 1 hour!quite famous in tat area!

we went in there & went up to the 3rd floor of tat tower! it looks scary like the wooden floor will crack anytime. my mum will so scare till she cant walk back to the stair!-_-''(she was the 1 who wanted to climb up)ha! she soulded for my dad to hold her back! so silly sia! the view up there was beautiful, i took 1 of angle down. can see from the pic it very sunny! can imagine how hot it is right? ha!

today i got competition, i was so nervous when i got into the kitchen!i debone the chix as fast as i could!i can't make it on time but i've try my best!i support to do 1 roast chix & 1 poach chix, but i cant make it on time. so i cook it to all roast method!i didn't haf confident cos tis is not my best dish!i can do it better!

i thought i cant get to my expectation!but when judge give mi comments, i feel it gd!not as bad as i think!

finally they said the result!i got 1st!i was sooooo shock!i didn't think its me!!!i was happy my frens keep congrats mi!shaking hands wif mi!but when i saw my gd frens face, my happiness had dropped down!i thought he could share the happiness wif mi but he didn't!i saw his face was like very dissapointed!i was thinkin ''wad is he thinking''!is he thinkin tat im hao lian??i feel like cryin at tat time!haiz!hope tat it my wild imagination!

there was tis couple which luv each other alot!they had been together for some yrs!they thought they can last forever but the horrible incident started....

after a while, she receive a call from the boy's mother....his mother say that boy was in danger & was in hospital!
tat girl was so shock!she ran down to the hospital immediately, but everything was to late!the boy had passed away!

he left his phone with a unsend msg which wrote:''dear!how's yr head?is it painful?i'm so sorry, when i saw tat metal stick in front of u, i can't wait to block it for u!pls forgive me!''

when girl saw tis msg, she cried & regret for wad she did!

*the moral of the story is to cherish the 1 around u while it is still not too late yet!

ytd is my 17th birthday!!i had a really stressin morning in sch!! we had onli 12 ppl to prepare for our trainin restaurant opening. so we end up doing 4 portion each!!sooo tiring!!

after sch i meet up wif my friends at nearby mac. They brought mi to marina square. we watched ''meet the robinson''. After movie, they left mi 2 by 2. i sian diao lor!!but in the end they cheat mi to go merlion & gave mi a surprise!!ha. so shock sia!!

tml we will be cookin our 1st main course dishes. fish & chips wif potato wedges & coleslaw plus mushroom soup..
not onli tat, we will be serving our training restaurant in school.so excited siia!!!we will be given 3 hours to prepare all tis.abit stress but will be fun & challenging..yay!!!!
anyway hope i can give my best shot & serve delicious food........hex......!!!!!

tues we went to sentosa.should be alot of ppl de, all not free left 13 ppl.but nvm we still haf lots of fun.

we dun feel like gettin up frm the sea.so shiok lor.play game & chit chattin in the water.play volley & others game on land also.rainin we still can play in the rain.we jus cant stop playin.

we stay at sentosa frm 10 sumthing until 6 sumthing.almost whole day.haha.after tat we went to vivo to eat dinner, went shoppin, n haf fun playin pool.reach home at around 11 plus.

so tired but i was veri enjoyin on tat day.hope to go again soon!!

22th to 24th march trip to st john island

~1st day

we take boat at marina bay to st john island in the morning.once we reach there, we got our own bed n start unpackin our stuffs.we got our own group n was ask to do duty.
afternoon we went to play game wif teachers n friends. i got throw into the sea by my friends.omg lor!!!at night, we take our bath together in tat no door toilet. after tat, we went walkin round the island.there is no light in the island.so feelin abit spooky.when goin back to our place, i try to fall aslp but those stupid mosquito keep bitin mi.i turn here n there the whole night.

~2nd day

it's my grp preparing lunch. after tat it's game time.we had alot of fun.n again i got sabo by my friend n was throw into sea.haha.at night, we got bbq for dinner.yummy!!but it rain suddenly.sian sia.so we bbq indoor.after tat we went for a walk in the island again.some of my friends went fishin in the jetty. we took photo too.i went to bed at around 4am.worst part is i haf to get up at 6am to preapre breakfast.so tired lor.

~3rd day

packin up early in the mornin.reach singapore at around 10.30am.we ate cup noodle at the marina bay jetty.then we went home n slp.

it was really fun there, n i will go again if i get the chance.hex...

first day of cookin..

today we cook ''stock''.chicken & fish stock.erm.the taste is damn plain de lor.but sir say not plain is not stock liao..quite man yi wif my cookin today although my fish stock left abit onli.i think is i scum to many stock out le ba.sir say my 2 stock got flavour i was release.but he call mi auntie lor(he was trying to be funny)!!!stupid him.haha..jkjk.

so today as usual wake up at 5.30am n go to sch..i can say today is a boring day to me..but even worst, morning forgot to take money to sch.left $2.60 in my wallet.same goes to nick but he left $1.20 onli.we share money to buy a plate of rice.ke lian right??shawn pushed $2 to nick n ask him to use it.but we rejected him.anyway thanks shawn:)

as for my lunch, i had my kinder bueno.haha. luckily my chocolate accompany mi..
